Data Warehouse Specialist / Architect

4+ years performing data warehouse architecture, development and management.
Working on production support and managing interfaces, batch applications
Responsible for write the technical design documents and estimates the ETL projects.
ETL design and development using the Abinitio graphs and UNIX shell scripting.
Involved in major part of testing the code and debugging the issues.
Closely work with business users and business analysts to get the requirements and also responsible for creating ETL mapping documents.
Responsible for the overall quality and timeliness of the deliverables.
Preformed all code Check-in and Check- out operations with EME.

Extensive experience with SQL Server Platform, SSIS and stored procedures.
Demonstrated experience designing/developing/supporting new and existing ETL processes, testing/administering RDBMS, and monitoring of database.

* Prepares and presents recommendations for data warehouse/business intelligence solutions options that best achieve business needs; simplifies the data landscape; and increases the ability to
discover, manage and analyze data as a whole.
* Maintains a detailed knowledge base of the underlying data and data structures; manages data content; current and potential future uses; and the quality and integrity of data within the EDW.
* Captures and analyzes business requirements for an EDW.
* Ensures established CoV, VSP, and Oracle standards are being followed in the design and development of the system.

1. Abinitio : Ab Initio software is a Business Intelligence platform containing six data processing products: Co Operating System, The Component Library, Graphical Development Environment, Enterprise Meta Environment, Data Profiler and Conduct It. It is a powerful graphical user interface-based parallel processing tool for ETL data management and analysis.
2. Autosys: An automated job control system for scheduling,monitoring and reporting jobs
3. Oracle SQL Developer: Oracle SQL Developer is an Integrated development environment for working with SQL in Oracle databases. Oracle Corporation provides this product free; it uses the Java Development Kit.
